Thanks for the comments about the blog, I don&amp;#39;t get much traffic so I tend to miss them.  &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;As for the Belgian IPA I made, I don&amp;#39;t remember what I did as far as a grain to water ratio.  Now I usually do a 1.2 water/grain which gives me around 70-73% mash efficiency. I know it usually changes on a month to month basis.  I have just always heard to never use it the 5.2 buffer, I&amp;#39;ve never asked why though.  I guess it would always give you a good PH to start from though.  I might have to give it a shot and see. Here in Denver water is mixed between 3 reservoirs and the mix is different at different times of the year. So even if I send my water out to get a report it is going to be different a month later. It&amp;#39;s not too cheap, so I hope you don&amp;#39;t need a lot.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I use it to make Brazilian Caipirinhas: Cachaça (kind of like rum, but more strongly flavored) with Muscovado sugar and lime. So much so that I am almost o...</title><content type='html'>Extremely good man.  So much so that I am almost out of it.  I plan on brewing it again by the end of the year I hope.  The beer was around 100 IBU's which would make it very bitter, but the honey counter acts that and leaves a slight sweet, citrus flavor in your mouth.
